Soup Bowl

Diane Becker is coordinating our volunteers at the Anniston Soup Bowl. We provide four volunteers quarterly to serve food. If you can volunteer for this two-hour commitment, please contact Sherry Blanton and then Diane will contact the volunteers when needed.

Women's Auxiliary

Nineteen members have joined the Women's Auxiliary during the 2006-7 membership drive. If you would like to join for the year, contact President Rena Schoenberg or Treasurer Sherry Blanton.

InterFaith Thanksgiving Service

Rabbi David Baylinson will deliver the sermon at the InterFaith Thanksgiving Service Sunday November 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Golden Springs Rd. at Greenbrier Rd. in Anniston. There is a reception at 3:00 and the service is at 4:00. This is the first time the InterFaith Service has had a rabbi as speaker. Let's turn out as a congregation to support this event and our rabbi.

 A Note from Our President

Our Rabbis have asked me to request that congregants please use the side door at the front of the sanctuary rather than crossing the bima as we enter and leave the sanctuary before and after services. If you need to leave the sanctuary during services, please continue to use the rear exit to the vestibule as we have always done. Thanks for your cooperation.
